The Logan Quintet is a group that I formed with friends of mine from my undergraduate years studying cello performance at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. The group consists of Brynn Vance (violin), McKenzie Clawson (violin), Kathleen Bradford (viola), and Stephen Mitton (cellist/arranger). After graduating from Utah State, several of us independently moved to Phoenix, Arizona where we reconnected over our love of sacred music. Over the next couple of years, I began writing a series of arrangements to play with my wife, Sara, in church and in our home on Sunday evenings. It wasn't long before we began including our old friends in that tradition, and the Logan Quintet was born.

After a successful crowdfunding campaign, the Quintet recorded our first album titled Simple Gifts ​in March 2018. The full album can be purchased on iTunes, CD Baby, and BandCamp.
